The Budget 2021/22
The Parish Council agreed its annual budget at the ………. meeting and this is the basis for the Parish Precept which is an element of your Council Tax.

Financial Management
At each meeting a Schedule of Payments is presented to the Parish Council for approval by the Clerk who is the Responsible Financial Officer and these are available to see on the agendas and minutes.
Each quarter accounts are presented by the Clerk who is the Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to the Parish Council – these go to July, November, January and May Parish Council Meetings.

Internal and External Audit 2020/21

The External Auditor will receive the Internal Audit and Annual Governance & Accounting Returns for 2020/21. They have issued the attached Certificate for 2019/20 – ExternalAuditorCert19_20

Please note that the period for exercising your right to inspect the accounting records (2020/21) is now closed. During the 30 working day period Monday 14 June 2021 to Friday 23 July 2021 you can exercise your statutory right to inspect and to have copies of the Parish Council’s accounting records (2020/21). Please contact the Clerk/RFO to make arrangements – tel no: 01234 56789 (voicemail available) or email:clerk@parish-council.online or use contact form on website. Copies may incur a charge of 5p per copy. Please note the Clerk/RFO works part time but will be back in touch as soon as possible.
